Can You Fit Golf Clubs In A Mercedes C-Class?

Do you love to play Golf, but not sure if your clubs will fit in a Mercedes C-class? Its compact yet powerful design does come at the cost of less storage space especially for passengers in the back seats but is it practical enough for golfers?

The Mercedes C-class trunk measures 400 litre/0.4 cubic meters which is enough space for two sets of golf clubs with room leftover without folding the rear seats down. The seats fold with a 40/20/40 split.

A Mercedes C-Class is far more practical for Golf than sports cars like the Porsche 911 as you don’t need to fold the seats down for Golf, you can see the trunk easily fitting a golf bag in the below video(0:31)

But if all your golfing buddies need a lift for the course (bags and all) the seats can be folded by pulling down a latch that’s easily located at the front of the boot/ trunk.

Keep reading and I will explain how to keep your golf clubs nice and safe as you drive you don’t want to damage your expensive clubs on the way to the course!

How To Protect Golf Clubs When Travelling

The Mercedes C-Class is a compact yet practical car and can fit 3-4 golf bags in the trunk with ease but that doesn’t mean they will be protected as you drive to the course.

I recommend buying a Yoga mat like this one from Amazon to stop any part of the bags or clubs from touching the seats or doors of the car, during travel.

A mat will easily extend to both sides of the door or you can a towel. If you protect your clubs they wiill damage themselves and your Merecedes

Or you can use a large Carabiner clip, get a pack of 4 from Amazon to attach the belts of your car to the Golf bag to keep it secure, otherwise the bag will move forward as you drive. You don’t want to damage your car!

Keeping your bag in your Golf club is another option, it saves you time and energy transporting your clubs to your course every time you play, but it isn’t too much hassle if you don’t need to fold the seats down with a practical car like a C-class.
